Optical Technology Training Ltd was set up in 1989, that makes us the longest established fibre optics and optical networking training company in the UK.

We offer the highest quality specialist training, consultancy, information and support services, designed to help you to put fibre optics and optical networking systems into current and foreseeable best practice, in accordance with relevant standards.
OTT has been an approved centre of City & Guilds since 1991, ran the City & Guilds 3466 qualification from 1991 to 2004, the City & Guilds 3666 award from 2004 and the City & Guilds 3667 Level 2 award from 2010.
OTT has provided 'train the trainer' packages to the Royal Air Force and NATO and a UK government department to run some of our training programmes under licence.
Richard Ednay, our Technical Director, has 27 years of experience in fibre optics and set up OTT in 1989. He is a well-known expert throughout the fibre optics industry both in the UK and internationally.
