• support relevant, reputable qualifications which meet our standards 

• work with our customers to provide customised or new training solutions for those customers working at the limits of, or in niche areas of, the application of fibre optics and communications technologies 

• continuously develop the depth and breadth of our expertise and professionalism within the company

Key Facts

Optical Technology Training Ltd

• was set up in 1989 - that makes us the longest established communications cabling training company in the UK 

• has been an approved centre of City & Guilds since 1991 

• ran the City & Guilds 3466 qualifications from 1991 to 2004 and have run the City & Guilds 3666 award from 2004

• has been involved in the City & Guilds working groups reviewing and taking qualifications for the cabling industry forward since 1992 

• has provided 'train the trainer' packages to the Royal Air Force and NATO to run some of our training programmes under licence 

• are technology specialists and have chosen to limit the courses & services we provide to our specific areas of expertise so that we can ensure the high quality of them. We employ full-time trainers and develop our own course materials. We are not training brokers.
