Justin's Story
(Certified Fibre Characterisation Engineer)
Justin Hartley of Trans African Fibre Services in Cape Town South Africa, attended the very first CFCE course in 2005. The email that he sent through to us last year says it all:-
"I just wanted to let you know that your course has paid off for me.
We have been asked by one of our customers to characterize the fibres for them.
We have been given about 33 sites to test which are linked with 24 core fibre, an approximate distance of about 3000kms.
I must admit it was great to be the only company who had any sort of qualification on this matter and I expect it is why we were awarded the largest section of the network. The customer was quite impressed with my knowledge and understanding on characterization, all thanks to OTT"
